About Niraj
Niraj is highly motivated and shows a strong commitment to helping clients and building positive working relationships. His honest, friendly, and welcoming personality, together with his professional attitude in the workplace, brings valuable support to the property management team.
With exceptional organisational skills and a focus on ensuring smooth workflow processes, Niraj is a key contributor to the Position Property team and the goal of providing excellent communication and return on investment for our property owners.
In his supporting role, Niraj is actively involved in the full spectrum of property management operations. He assists with tenant communications, conducts routine inspections, and supports entry and exit condition reports to ensure properties are well maintained and accurately documented. Niraj also coordinates maintenance and repairs, liaising with tenants and trades people to ensure timely and high-quality outcomes.
Additionally, Niraj plays an important role in the letting process, preparing and publishing property advertisements, organising open homes, responding to rental enquiries, and supporting tenancy application processing. His eye for detail ensures marketing materials are accurate and appealing, which helps attract quality tenants and reduce vacancy times.
Having migrated to Australia in 2008, Niraj has remained closely connected to his roots and the local community. He has been actively involved in community service through the Rotary Club in Sri Lanka, served as a Sri Lankan community radio presenter on 4EB Radio in Brisbane, and is a proud member of the Richmond College Old Boys Association. A talented trumpet player, he continues to share his passion for music within community circles. Following an extensive IT background in his native Sri Lanka, Niraj made a successful career transition into the property industry in 2019.
