About Doug

Following a successful stint in technical sales within Brisbane’s IT industry, Doug joined Position Property’s project marketing division back in 2001, Now a member of Position’s Project leadership team, his significant industry experience, partnering with Brisbane’s leading developers across varying market cycles, is invaluable.


Doug balances a lead sales role across the inner suburbs with a consultancy role focussed on delivering market ready apartment and town-home projects, appropriately positioned, and priced for the local market. Key areas of expertise include:


  • Advanced level sales/negotiation skills at both client & developer level

  • Deep Brisbane property market knowledge

  • Significant new & off-plan sales experience particularly within urban renewal / lifestyle precincts, staged apartment/town-home & prestige releases

  • A passion for quality & liveable design coupled with a natural attention to detail

  • Strong consulting experience focussed on market ready product design/finish, market positioning, sales / campaign & pricing strategy.  Internal/partner team training around product design & market positioning

  • High level communication skills including significant public speaking experience both locally and internationally

Doug holds a Bachelor of International Business (GU) /Graduate Diploma in Property Economics (QUT) and is a fully licensed Real Estate Salesperson.
